Tuna salad with vegetables recipe
For the mayonnaise:
1 boiled egg yolk
1 raw egg yolk
2 tsp mustard
2 cups sunflower oil
For the salad:
1 cup tuna in oil or own juice
2 green apples
1 canned corn
Step 1: Put the boiled egg yolk, raw egg yolk in a bowl ,salt and pepper to taste and a little oil and start mixing.
Step 2: Continue to mix, pouring a little oil, until the mayonnaise begins to take on consistency.
Step 3: When it becomes firm, add 1-2 teaspoons of cold water and continue to mix adding oil.
Step 4: When we have obtained ¾ of the desired amount of mayonnaise, add the mustard and continue mixing, dripping oil, until we finish the oil.
Step 5: Let the mayonnaise cool until we use it.
Step 6: We peel all the vegetables, and squeeze the juice from ½ lemon over the apples to prevent oxidation but also for an extra taste.
Step 8: Remove the pomegranate seeds.
Step 9: Grate the vegetables through a large grater.
Step 10: In a large bowl, place the grated vegetables, corn, pomegranate seeds and chopped tuna.
Step 11: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 12: Pour the mayonnaise and mix everything very well to incorporate and mix all the ingredients.
