How did I make the perfect donuts?


Fluffy donuts
2 cups milk;
1 tsp dry yeast;
2 tbsp sugar;
2 egg yolks;
2 cups white flour;
1 tbsp salt;
2 sachets vanilla sugar;
1 tsp lemon essence;
Oil for frying;
Powdered sugar
Chocolate spread or jam .

Step 1: Put warm milk, yeast and sugar in a large bowl.
Step 2: Mix with a whisk to dissolve the ingredients.
Step 3: Cover the bowl with cling film and let the yeast activate for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Remove the foil and mix
Step 5: Add the yolks and stir a little more.
Step 6: Put flour, salt, vanilla sugar and lemon essence in the bowl.
Step 7: Knead until you get a fluffy, elastic, slightly sticky dough.
Step 8: Cover the bowl with cling film and leave the dough to rise for 30 minutes.
Step 9: Sprinkle flour on the work surface and place the dough on it.
Step 10: Spread the dough first with your hands, then with the rolling pin until you get a sheet about 1cm thick.
Step 11: Cut the donuts with a 6-8 cm diameter glass.
Step 12: Let the donuts rest for about 5-10 minutes.
Step 13: Heat the oil in a saucepan.
Step 14: In the hot oil, fry the donuts.
Step 15: Turn them on both sides and remove them on paper napkins, when they get a brown colour
Step 16: Place the donuts on a plate and powder them with powdered sugar.
Step 17: Serve the donuts with chocolate cream or fruit jam or just sugar.
