  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup (75 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup (60 g) baby spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) sun-dried tomatoes, chopped (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish


  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
  2. Cook the Chicken:
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

    • Add the chopped baby spinach and sun-dried tomatoes (if using).
    • Let the sauce simmer for about 3-5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the spinach to wilt.
  5. Serve:
    • Transfer the chicken breasts to serving plates.
    • Spoon the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce over the chicken.
    • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
